Sopartec is involved in the management of two incubator companies based on campus at the Université catholique de Louvain. These structures of hosting and support in setting up innovative enterprises provide guidance to researchers and young entrepreneurs through the delicate transition from technology to the product and from an idea to the market place.

The services provided by the enterprise incubator are :

- Premises that are adapted, modular and financially accessible

- A range of professional services (training, validation of business plans etc.)

- Recruitment of experienced professionals (managers)

- Raising finance (subsidies, public and private investment)

Centre d'Entreprise et d'Innovation (CEI)

The Centre d’Entreprise et d’Innovation (CEI) is a general incubator located in the scientific park of Louvain-la-Neuve. Founded in 2004 by Sopartec, UCL and SOGEPA (Walloon Region), it has a modular surface area of 1,100 square metres (+ 2,000 sq. m. under construction), a range of shared services (meeting rooms for rent, secretarial service, reception, etc.) and the availability of a  professional team to guide the young entrepreneurs during the formation and expansion of their innovative enterprises.

Brussels Life Science Incubator (BLSI)

The Brussels Life Science Incubator (BLSI) is an incubator specialising in life sciences and located in the heart of the Woluwé Saint-Lambert university campus, surrounded by the Medical Department, the Cliniques universitaires Saint-Luc and reputed teaching and research institutes such as l’Institut de Duve. Founded in 2008 by Sopartec, UCL and the Brussels-Capital Region BLSI has offre 1.400 sq. m. of mudular space to rent (office and laboratory), a range of shared services (meeting rooms, cafeteria, etc.) and the availability of a  professional team to guide the entrepreneurs and researchers during the formation and development of their enterprises in fields such as biotechnology/pharmaceuticals, medical devices, medical imagery, e-health, etc.

Sopartec and the CEI and BLSI incubators also provide support for developing enterprises who wish to leave the incubation structure and go to rent/purchase new premises particularly in the scientific parks of  UCL.
